Founded to promote culture, wellness, and national cohesion, PAMICCO brings together some of Kenya’s finest choirs under one umbrella. Its members include civil servants, county staff, and corporate professionals who use music to serve society beyond their daily roles.Each year, PAMICCO visits a different county based on invitation, ensuring that its impact is felt nationally. In 2025, that invitation led them to Taita Taveta—where the reception was warm and the impact immediate.

Four Days of Music, Charity, and Human Connection
During the visit, PAMICCO CSR in Taita Taveta focused on giving back to vulnerable communities. The choirs visited prisons, where inmates listened attentively as harmonies filled halls that rarely echo with song. Food supplies and essential items were also donated as part of end-of-year support.One of the most emotional highlights took place at Tumaini Children’s Home in Voi. PAMICCO choirs sang together with orphaned children, creating moments of joy, laughter, and confidence. The children joined in singing and clapping—an unforgettable reminder that music restores dignity and belonging.
Leadership Rooted in National Identity
The choirs were musically led by a renowned national music teacher, famous for conducting patriotic songs such as “Tawala Kenya Tawala.” His direction brought a strong sense of Kenyan identity and cultural pride to the performances.Overall leadership of PAMICCO CSR in Taita Taveta was provided by Mwalimu Thomus Wasonga from the Office of the President. He noted that the initiative has remained consistent for 20 years.
“This is our 20th year of CSR. Every year we go to a different county based on invitation, using music to unite and serve communities.”

The Taita Taveta County Choir partnered with PAMICCO throughout the tour, joining visits to several locations across the county.
