Nairobi’s Embakasi ‘A’ Campus was filled with pride, precision, and purpose today as President William Samoei Ruto presided over the Administration Police Service (APS) Passing-Out Parade. The ceremony marked a major milestone for the latest cohort of recruits, who officially transitioned from rigorous training to active duty within the National Police Service (NPS).
These newly minted officers step into the field at a critical time when security demands across the country continue to evolve. Equipped with essential skills, discipline, and modern policing standards, this new generation of officers will be deployed nationwide to bolster Kenya’s security infrastructure.

During the final full-dress rehearsal ahead of the parade, Inspector-General of Police Douglas Kanja offered a grounded reminder to the parade grounds: wearing the police uniform is a profound public trust.
